    Description

    The blocks of leaf fossils from the Eagle Creek Formation, dated to 34-28 MYA.
    One block shows a CURVED partial leaf fossil in a warm brown color, next to a piece of petrified wood. On the side is another partial leaf fossil. This piece measures approximately 6” x 6” x 2 1/2”.
    The other piece is a section of layer leaf fossils, presumably from an eddy in the ancient stream next to where they were found. Very finely detailed, showing many small leaf veins. On the reverse side, there are numerous tiny fossilized seeds. This piece measures approximately 8 1/4” x 2 3/4”.
    Total weight is approximately 4 lb 4 oz.
